Lysogorski Sanki Festival is a truly winter event celebrating Russian traditions, love for speed and a creative approach to sleighing. The location has been chosen for a particular purpose. Where would you find better slopes if not in Lysy Gory (Russian word “gory” means “mountains”)?
The festival participants are going to be a part of the show as they are going to sleigh in unusual hand-made sleighs. Outfits and team presentation are of high importance. Teams of 2-5 people can take part in a round. The teams have to compete for the funniest outfit, the perkiest presentation, the most unique sleighs and, of course, the fastest and longest run down the hill.
Fans of classic sleighs and inflatable sleds will not feel bored at the festival. Festival guests will have a chance to sleigh down the hill, ride a horse and taste various treats from Lysy Gory. Children will get busy at the specially-arranged entertainment area.
Photo areas with fairy-tale characters and symbols of Russian winter are going to make your pictures vivid and memorable.
