Today, the small rural settlement of Teriberka on the shore of the Barents Sea is already known, probably, in every corner of our large country, and beyond its borders. After all, Teriberka was included in the TOP 20 best places to travel according to National Geographic magazine.

It is no secret that the release of the film "Leviathan" had a significant impact on the creation of the modern perception of Teriberka. After the release of the film, the rural settlement became famous all over the world and became one of the most popular small settlements in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. The search for growth points unrelated to the fishing industry has become one of the main and urgent tasks facing the region.

Within the framework of the Festival, a large number of diverse events are held simultaneously, designed for different target audiences, representing potential growth points of the region.

It is worth noting that the key aspects of the festival's influence since 2015 have been: the development of the territory's infrastructure, support for regional business, tourism development in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, the involvement of youth and citizens in sports and environmental protection, the popularization of small territories and the formation of a positive lifestyle in northern latitudes, as well as drawing attention to local authentic cuisine, food from local producers, agricultural products and wild plants of the Polar Region.
