Every year, the traditional Khanty festival “Vurna hutl” - “Crow's Day” is held on the square near the Ecological Center “Nouvi At”. “Crow's Day” is the favorite holiday of the Ob Ugrians, it is widely celebrated in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra. Since 2012 it has been the “Raven Day” Day of the Autonomous Okrug “Day of the Indigenous Minorities of the North of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra.

In the myths of the peoples of the Khanty and Mansi, the Crow is the messenger of spring, a symbol of the awakening and renewal of nature. Crows are the first to fly in, begin to twist their nests, croak loudly, as if awakening nature itself. On such a day, it is customary to hang sweets on trees, symbols of the long-awaited spring sun. The crow is considered the ancient patroness of mothers and babies.

For guests, the organizers prepare a theatrical performance. The heroes of the holiday hold national competitions for strength and dexterity with children, a competition for weaving crow's nests. Adults and children with interest solve traditional Khanty puzzles for attention and memory. The decoration of the holiday is the performance of the amateur folk band “Uvas Khuramat”. The main heroine of the holiday - “Crow” presents memorable gifts to families in which newborns appeared during the year. The final holiday is the old Khanty rite of worship. Children and adults tie ribbons on a birch and make a wish. After that, all guests are offered to try dishes of national cuisine, which are prepared by the masters of the city of Beloyarsky.
