As part of ethno-gastronomic tourism, preserving the traditions of preparing national pilaf, a city festival of pilaf will be held. The ancient city has always been famous for its chefs and culinary specialists, who have been skillfully preparing pilaf and other national dishes for many years.

Residents and guests of the city will be presented with 11 varieties of pilaf: shah pilaf, pumpkin pilaf, Lezgi, Uzbek, sweet, Jewish pilaf, sabzi, sudlu, shuut pilaf, badamjan govurma, lavyangi pilaf and Indian pilaf.
