• The interdistrict folklore festival "Ivan-tea" was developed within the framework of the project "Harvesting of narrow-leaved cypress (Ivan-tea) on the territory of the Krasnensky district for the production of a tea drink" in 2017. It takes place annually in the village of Krasnoe in the Krasnensky district on the territory of the central park. The theme of the event was not chosen by chance, since Krasnenskaya land is famous for the variety of medicinal herbs growing. Masters of decorative and applied creativity of the House of Crafts of the Krasnensky district and invited from neighboring districts and regions offer their exhibitions of works made in various techniques to the attention of the audience. Everyone can taste many different herbal teas and learn about their beneficial properties. Having come to the festival, the viewer "plunges" into the atmosphere of friendliness and can participate in interactive activities: a master class on twisting a herbalist doll; play old folk games; take a photo for memory in a thematically designed photo zone; participate in thematic quizzes; make a souvenir with your own hands; taste traditional Ivan tea from a samovar; get acquainted with the exhibition of samovars. Throughout the event, there is a concert venue where folklore groups, chastushechniki and harmonicists of the Krasnensky district and invited guests from neighboring districts and regions take part. In their performance, you can see both songs and dances performed within the framework of the theme of the event, and all those present can take part in a wide round dance.
