As part of the preservation and development of the traditions and way of life of the Khanty, Mansi and forest Nenets peoples, a traditional Hunter and Reindeer Herder Holiday is held annually in the district.

The program of the holiday traditionally includes national competitions in winter hunting biathlon: reindeer sledding races, running on podvolok (kamus skis), air rifle shooting, snowmobile races.
