The All-Russian Historical Reenactment Festival will traditionally take place at the Khokhlovka Architectural and Ethnographic Museum. The landscape and preserved buildings from different eras add realism to the event. Most visitors to Khokhlovka dream not just of observing history from the sidelines but of becoming part of it. The festival’s interactive zones allow guests to transform from spectators into creators and co-authors. At the workshop areas, attendees can watch craftsmen at work and try their hand at various crafts, such as painting, weaving, embroidery, jewelry making, and wood carving.
