Samhain, the night of spirits or the night of gates - the ancient Celtic day of the beginning of the New Year. This is a dark time when doors to all worlds open and the magical folk, evil spirits, and spirits of the dead come out to people. The earth ceases to belong to humans, and they become its masters for a quarter of the year. In those times, druids performed fiery rituals on animal bones and used them to look into the future, while common people cleansed themselves with fire and feasted in honor of the end of the harvest.
