For the eighth time, the Interregional Literary Festival "Belinskaya Spring" will be held in the homeland of the famous Russian literary and theater critic V.G. Belinsky. In 2026, it will be 215 years since the critic's birth. The anniversary date will be dedicated to a celebration of literature, uniting talented authors and connoisseurs of beauty from different parts of Russia. This is a significant event in the cultural life of the region. The festive events traditionally are not limited to the territory of the V.G. Belinsky Museum-Estate. The street where the museum-estate is located turns into old Chembar for one day, which was the former name of the city where the future critic's family settled. The literary festival in Belinsky, symbolized by a delicate violet, unites literature lovers, tourists, and local residents. The memory of the great fellow countryman is preserved in the family estate and the neighboring merchant's house, which houses an exposition about the life and creative path of V.G. Belinsky.
