The uniqueness of this scientific and practical conference lies in its comprehensive approach and focus on the living, applied culture of the Mansi people, not just academic study. The event brings together scientists (ethnographers, historians, linguists) and tradition bearers (masters, elders). This ensures not only discussion of problems but also demonstration and transfer of practical skills and knowledge. The conference focuses on the unique features of Mansi culture, which may differ depending on territorial groups. This allows for deep, specialized research of each group and contributes to the revival of local rituals, dialects, and crafts that often remain outside the scope of major federal events. The event is held on the basis of a museum, which itself is a center for cultural preservation. This allows participants to work not with abstract data, but with genuine exhibits, archives, and materials, which increases reliability. The conference aims not just to record fading traditions, but to develop specific mechanisms and projects for their revival and integration into modern life.

Following the conference, a collection of all presented scientific papers is published. The conference will be held in November 2026.
