The International Kogalym Half Marathon, held in Western Siberia on the eve of Oil and Gas Industry Workers' Day with the support of LUKOIL company, is a large-scale sports festival that brings together over 1,500 participants from 55 regions of Russia and athletes from 13 countries worldwide (including Uzbekistan, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Iraq, and others). They compete on certified distances (21.1 km, 15 km – Russian Championship, 2.5 km), participate in relay races, children's races, and a unique family Ethnographic Run of the Indigenous Peoples of the North.
