On January 31, the Kaliningrad Museum of Fine Arts, together with the E.T.A. Hoffmann Children's Music School, opens the festival "Musical Frenzies of Kapellmeister Hoffmann". The lecture-music program will be part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of E.T.A. Hoffmann and will run until February 14. On January 31 and February 14 at 16:00, guests will enjoy concerts by teachers and students of the E.T.A. Hoffmann Children's Music School, featuring musical works by Hoffmann himself, his revered Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as well as Robert Schumann, who was inspired by the German romantic and composed music based on his literary plots. Lectures on the significance of music in Hoffmann's work and the writer's influence on composers of the 19th–21st centuries will be given on February 5 and 12 at 18:30 by Honored Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation, musicologist Inna Dementieva.
