Novaya Ladoga will gather residents from all districts of the region, tourists from other regions and countries. Throughout the festival, guests will be offered an interesting and educational program. For fishing enthusiasts, there will be smelt fishing competitions; for gourmets – master classes on cooking dishes from this silvery fish. At the sale fair in the «fishing village,» producers from the Leningrad Region and neighboring regions will present the entire spectrum of fish products – from smelt, vendace, carp, pike, and bream to exquisite types of pike-perch, trout, sturgeon, and exotic African catfish. You will be able to purchase both well-known and rare types of fish, including chum salmon, lamprey, grayling, burbot, herring, and others. As part of the festival, there will be a craft fair, an exhibition space, and a musical show on the concert stage.
