One of the popular events of this period is the event "Berendeevo kingdom". This is an exciting quest in the style of Russian fairy tales. The first New Year's performance was held in 2009 – the year of the opening of the Yalutorovsky prison. Every year, guests will find a new, entertaining plot, as well as riddles, games, and interesting tasks. The main characters are Santa Claus, Snow Maiden and Tsar Berendei. Participants enter a magical world in which there are a lot of fun games, riddles and puzzles. The fabulous inhabitants of the Berendeyev kingdom help to pass the tests: Koschei the Immortal, Karachun, Babki-Hedgehogs, the Old Man-yearling and Kolyada.
