Djeyrakh marathon with an elevation gain of approximately 1,500 meters for a maximum distance of 42 km is the most mountainous of all asphalt marathons in the country. The design of the marathon is quite simple - it is a good asphalt road with numerous turns almost along the entire length of the race except for the beginning, where the dirt road takes the starters away from the ancient tower complex. The participants have an opportunity to run among steep walls of the Rocky Ridge and many well-existing monuments of medieval Ingush architecture. In terms of entertainment, the Jeyrakh marathon can safely be included in the top list of the most landscape marathons in the world without any overstatement.
