This International Military Historical Festival is dedicated to the battles of April-May 1942, when, at the cost of 200,000 soldiers’ lives, three attempts were made to break through the Leningrad blockade. The reconstruction makes use of both military and unique railway equipment on the existing narrow-gauge railway, heavy weapon models, and pyrotechnics. Interactive exhibitions function all day long, and viewers have the chance to get acquainted with the everyday life of the warring parties under the conditions of the Volkhov Front. At the same time, a festival of narrow-gauge railway equipment will be held at the venue, and guests will be able to take a ride on a rare type of railway
